Expertise: Mr. Woods represents individual and business debtors and creditors in bankruptcies, non-bankruptcy restructurings, collection actions, and commercial litigation. Prior to joining the MGLS, Mr. Woods was an associate in the insolvency and restructuring group of a large international law firm. He is licensed to practice in New York and Nevada.
Recognition and community: Mr. Woods has authored and co-authored numerous articles and materials on bankruptcy issues. Recent publications include a co-author credit for Monorail, Monorail, Monorail: Chapter 9 and Restructuring Issues Relating to Municipal Authorities, Norton Journal of Bankruptcy Law and Practice (March 2011).
Education: Mr. Woods graduated magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2008, where he served as staffwriter for the Washington and Lee Law Review and received the Roy L. Steinheimer Award for Excellence in Commercial Law. Mr. Woods received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University in 2004.
